Kaut kas košākām vasaras beigām / Something vibrant for the end of summer

Jaunā džempera tamborēšana tika pabeigta jau jūnija sākumā, taču todien man kā par spīti bija uznācis lielais galu ievilkšanas slinkums (droši vien neesmu vienīgā, kam šī piņķerēšanās ne sevišķi tīk), tādēļ rokdarbs iegūla skapī uz diviem mēnešiem, līdz beidzot es, ieviešot tajā kārtību, izcēlu tamborējumu dienasgaismā un pabeidzu.

Actually, the new crocheted sweater I am presenting today was completed in early June, but, due to that day's "don't-want-to-weave-in-the-yarn-ends" laziness, I stored the unfinished project in the closet for the next two months.

Today, cleaning the closet, I found the unfinished sweater and decided that it's time to bring the project to an end.

Džemperis jau ir lieti noderējis divās vasaras naktīs, brīvdabā apmeklējot īsfilmu seansu un dodoties pastaigā pa pilsētu.

The sweater proved to be useful during two summer nights when I attended open-air short film screenings and went for a walk around the city.
