Krekliņa reanimācija / Reanimation of a top

Divas dienas nopietni strādāju pie neparedzētiem tulkojumiem, bet šodien, kā jau brīvdienā, radās iespēja rokdarboties. Šajā reizē iedevu otro dzīvību vienkāršam, zaļam krekliņam, uz kura, pērnvasar dekupāžas tehnikā izrotājot lādīti, nejauši uzmetu rozā kleksi.

In the previous two days, I seriously worked on some unplanned translations, but today, as a holiday, I finally got a chance to engage in crafting activities. This time I gave a second life to a simple green top. Last summer I decoupaged wooden boxes and accidentally paintbrushed the top with a drop of pink paint.



No merserizētas kokvilnas diegiem uztamborēju 3 īru mežģīņu elementus un šuvu tik klāt. Pārveidotais krekliņš tagad izskatās šāds:

To hide the stain, I took mercerized cotton yarn and crocheted three elements of Irish lace, which I later sew on the top. The modified top now looks like this:

Beidzot varēšu krekliņu neslēpt zem džemperiem vai žaketēm un brīvi izbaudīt tajā daļu no atlikušajām siltajām šīgada dienām.

Now there's no need to hide the top under a sweater or jacket. I can fully enjoy the remaining warm days of the year.
